Alyson Francisco

Mary Ardrey Stough Kimbrough Chair of Business and Economics at Salem College

    Alyson Francisco is on faculty at Salem College, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where she teaches finance and entrepreneurship. She also serves as the Director of their Center for Women in Business where she fulfillls her passion of developing women and helping them build skills for advancement in the professional world. Prior to higher education, she spent more than twenty-five years in the consumer packaged goods industry holding executive level positions in finance and customer operations with Sara Lee Corporation and Hanes Brands, Inc. She is a graduate of NC State University and holds an MBA from Duke University. She is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Winston-Salem where she now serves as an Action Learning Coach. She also is involved in the community through her work with the Center for Women in Business, as a board member of the Center for Creative Economy, a member of the Forsyth Technical Community College Small Business Center Advisory Board, and member of the Entrepreneur Ecosystem of Forsyth County.
