Johanna is the Director of Global Fashion Relations & Special Events at MAC Cosmetics. MAC is the world’s leading professional makeup authority because of our unrivalled expertise in makeup artistry.

Johanna was formerly the Director of Brand Partnerships at Spring, inc. fashion startup. She also was Professional Development Manager at the Council of Fashion Designers of America and has worked with over 40 American fashion brands on their business development and growth strategies. There, Johanna was responsible for the development of the CFDA’s MBA programs with four of the top business schools on the east coast – Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School, the Wharton School and NYU Stern School of Business.  

Johanna has been a guest speaker at Harvard Business School in 2012 and 2013 for their Luxury & Retail Conference as well as the Wharton School and she has co-taught a fashion business course at NYU Stern for the last two semesters.

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and educated at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and Parsons The New School for Design, Johanna has worked in the fashion industry for seven years focusing on emerging American designers and their business development. While at Parsons, Johanna had the opportunity to explore companies such as Calvin Klein, Harper’s Bazaar, Badgley Mischka and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
